Paths for Developing Ethical AI

How can we get to a place in the future where society benefits from artificial intelligence, avoiding technological pitfalls that are harmful to some subpopulations or even catastrophic across humanity? Drawing from my experience working in the technology sector while connecting to policy, I propose that the answer lies in analyzing development choices through the lens of human values, and I introduce concrete research directions to drive AI development forward.
