This presentation explores the critical intersection of safety engineering frameworks and their practical industrial applications, with a focus on AI-powered robots (including humanoids, autonomous mobile robots, and highly automated vehicles). Drawing from experience in both standards development and real-world implementation, we first formalize key challenges before analyzing opportunities for translating abstract safety engineering principles into actionable practices.
