Chandler Smith is a research engineer at the Cooperative AI Foundation, where he conducts technical research on multiagent systems. He was an author on the NeurIPS Spotlight paper "BetterBench: Assessing AI Benchmarks, Uncovering Issues, and Establishing Best Practices"; served as the lead of the Concordia Contest: Advancing the Cooperative Intelligence of Language Model Agents; and is co-authoring the forthcoming "Multi-Agent Risk from Advanced AI" report, which provides a taxonomy of risks arising from increasingly complex agentic interactions. Additionally, he consults with In-Q-Tel’s applied research and technology architect teams on AI, multiagent systems, and AI infrastructure.
