Peter Railton

Peter Railton is the Kavka Distinguished University Professor of Philosophy at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He has worked on a range of issues in ethics, metaethics, action theory, and the philosophy of science. His publications include "Facts, Values, and Norms" and "Homo Prospectus" (jointly authored). He is a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and has held fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation, the U.S. National Endowment for the Humanities, and the American Council of Learned Societies.
